Years ago, my Aunt Tillie took a trip through Vermont in the Fall and was awed by the display of colors to the point she called it "Natures Fashion Show". Having been to Vermont as well, I totally agree and thought her title was an appropriate name for my collection of Nature Photography taken throughout the year. All photographs are completely free of manual and digital retouching or color manipulation.
No matter where we travel, the majesty of Nature is all around us - we just need to take some time to "be in the moment" and observe God's hand in the beauty around us.
Relaxation for me is to climb up and down winding trails, take up position in a stream, burrow down in the snow or cross sandy beaches to discover and capture the beauty that surrounds us. All the while, I am respectful of Mother Nature and those that live among her.
As you go through the galleries and settle on a few photos, please take the time to take two slow, long and deep breaths looking into the scene before you. When you do I hope you feel the energy and power of Mother Nature and, at the same time, begin to experience the calmness and gentle peace that are blessings from Mother Nature.
